I use Mrs. Wages pickling lime and it has kept my levels stable ever since I started using it. I bought it from the Mrs Wages website for like $12 for 4 lbs. Good deal.

I think there's another post on here about the ball brand. Did you try searching for 'ball pickling'?

I used Ball's until it became unavailable in the area, I just received a shipment I bought online 3lbs of Mrs Wages for around 9 bucks. The balls undissolved will be a little more orange than Mrs wages due to some iron, but the high ph precipitates it out, it's not a problem. If it is available locally, I would use it before purchasing it off the internet, little cheaper if you buy it locally

well i purchased the balls pickling lime today b/c i couldn't find the mrs.wages anywhere. So the ball stuff will be ok to use? Do i mix it one tablespoon per gallon or one teaspoon? Then let it sit fr about 8 hours then pour the clear liquid into my kent aquadose then drip it over night? sound about right?

It'll be fine, start with one teaspoon per gallon and adjust as necessary to maintain levels.

Preferable overnight, but I let mine sit for 8 hours before I start dosing.
