kalkwasser questions
im just started using kalk in my topoff resevoir. its a 21 gallon rubbermaid tote. i put around 1 tsp of kalk for each gallon and mix it for 10 min with a powerhead. i let it sit for about 6-8 hours. but my question is, how clear is the water supposed to be...its been around 10hrs and it still looks cloudy/milky. and is the mixture supposed to have a funky smell to it? if im doing anything wrong please let me know...i need help. thanks
