I want to add a Mandarin but i see little amount of copepods but tons of AMPHIPODS will a mandarin survive on these, if not then ill just have to pass.

you should be able to pull it off when the tank is 100% fully matured. not for quite a while tho. add live pods alot and let them colonize up in the tank then way later you can have one!

i dont know why i dont have millions running around my tank as it has been set up for a long time already its been running for almost a year. i see lots of AMPHIPODS but only once i a while ill see one just one copepods crawling on my lr.

Mandarin mostly live off of Copepods from what I know of I know they eat AMPHIPODS but when they are smaller. If they are to big they might not eat them.
