Kenya coral?

Hi,
I have a Kenya coral that has been doing really well since the day I got the thing about 6-7 months ago. Today I notice one of its branches on my sand bed. Looks like it just fell right off. My first thought was that it was splitting as a form of reproduction. Is this normal? Just wanted to ask and see if my predictions are right.

Yep that's normal. They will keep spreading and growing

What type of xenia pulsing or waving?

They were pulsing now they just sway
