The tank is a redsea reefer 425xl with at least 50 corals in there. I have been using a doser everyday with Seachem products - 40ml of CA, 40ml of KH and 45ml of Mag. Using redsea and salifert test kits, my test results this morning was CA = 420, KH = 7, Mg = 1350. How can I increase the KH without affecting the CA?

Any advice is appreciated. Thank you.

I use driveway ice melt for my Ca and Epsom salt for my MG....
Those are cheap and easy ,but to raise only the KH only is another story...
So I pay for seachem...
Both my reef tanks eat kh weekly...

How about using reef fusion for my KH? I still have a litter left and I want to use it before buying reef builder. Do I have to dose the same amount as my calcium or no? I noticed that my KH is getting consumed more than my calcium.

I test before I dose and then use my experience to know how much to add...They don't test the same so they never get the same amount?? Only one of my tanks goes through Ca at a good pace...
Adding in small amounts until correct level is reached is always best anyways in reef tanks.
