killing algae!

is there a way i can take my rocks that have algae on them and place them in a separate container and kill all the algae?

like putting the rocks in a bucket of HIGH salted saltwater? with no light?

scrub a dub dub do it in a tub (or bucket, just didn't rhyme the same). use regular salt water though so you don't kill any of the bacteria or other beneficial critters that live in the rocks. Use a fingernail brush or something similar to srub that stuff off!!!!

I agree, take it out into a bucket with tank water. Take out your toothbrush, any kind of brush. And scrub scrub scrub! I did it about a couple months back and there hasnt been growth since. You also have to narrow down the reason why there is algea growth, which will take longer then scubbing.
