Lava Rock???

Would you put lava rock in your aquarium?

Yep i use it in my 3 gallon with no issues it was present during the cycle though don't know if that makes a difference.

Yup have some in my 60. The ritteri anemone and the few corals i have so far in there aren't complaining.

I have it in my 30, 55 and 75. I had some one tell me that it has a lot of iron in it and will make everything go bad after awhile. I just wanted to know your guy opinion on the use of lava rock...thanks

Their are many types of lava rocks and some can be bad the kind i have is scoria which is not bad and can be used. Its really light weight, and i found it for free.
