I just got my blenny! I'm very excited but also worried. He ate some NLS marine flake the day we got home and he munched all the algae off the tank walls but now he isn't eating. I gave the flake again, he ate one bite and spit it out. :-(

Is there something these fish really like? Open to suggestions.

Thanks :D

You might want to try sheet algae on a clip. My lawnmower eats absolutely everything including rods food for predators he doesn't know he should stick to algae. Mine is a pig he even eats flakes which is funny to watch when he has a full belly already.

My lawnmower was a pig also. He cleaned my tank all day and ate his veggie sheets. Also put some nice mouth marks on my blue jaw. He was a nasty guy.

are these types of blennies known for trying to escape from tanks?

Thanks for all the suggestions. I'm gonna pick up some seaweed sheets and maybe some garlic too.
