This is why when setting up a sump/fuge the baffles and seperators must be correct,as in the photo's this shows a good setup for a fuge, even though there is about 100gph going through the system because of the baffles and seperator setup most of the flow goes over the fuge section(where the chaeto is)so as not to disturb the mud or sand you would have in the bottom, this setup wouldn't work very well with just macro unless another baffle is installed to force flow to the bottom of this section.Although I don't know what this cloud is it is a good example of flow.this is my old fuge which i am starting up and is going through the last stages of a cycle.

Looks pretty nice. I like the look of it. It`s not small micro bubbles is it?

No its not,I moved it with the cable from the heater and it moved like a cloud and then settled,I don't know if this was the cause but I put a load of rotifers I'm culturing for the clowns which are spawning but so far Haven't been successful. The first lot of eggs hatched but I wasn't ready, now I'm ready by day 4 most of them have been eaten by the clowns or the hermits have got to them!!
