Leapord wrasse

I couldnt find my leopard wrasse for a whole day the other week and found out that it had jumped into the overflow. The teeth of my overflow are lined with mesh wire so it had to have jumped an inch out of the water and over to get in there. Luckily I was able to net it out through the tight space with minimal stress. So yes, it is possible.
 
I think pretty much anything that is an active swimmer have the potential to jump out.... had a bamboo shark..... jumped out of the tank at feeding time. think it got a bit too excited lol
 
I agree. I read somewhere that male fairy wrasses jump to attract a female. Leopard wrasses will most likely jump but not for the same reason
