Leather Coral Any help?

These are the best pix I can take from my tank I wanted to know why the leather corals hide so much or do not open up? Water is pristine conditions, light is 260 watts. any info greatly appreciated. Does it/they need food? Thanks

Mine looks like that when its growing>>>> Not sure how to explain it. Mine gets a new split most times after that. !-2 days and mine gets back to the polyps being out.

Does it look bigger after it looks like that?

260 watts lighting it looks bigger when the spikes are out. What do u feed it?

Does it/they need food?

They do not really need any special target feedings. What are you feeding the rest of the tank? Your leather may be shedding. I would recommend putting it in an area of higher water flow to aid in this process. Six days is a bit long for this to continue so higher flow may help.

How about the 2 other leather corals in the pix the one that looks like a bunch of claws and the other one looks like a mushroom??? Thanks
