Sorry for your problem. Sometimes the LFS has to learn that we are the customer and not them. I would just try to keep it. Maybe the clowns will host it but the odds are slim. IME they host corals better at least in my tank anyway.

Some LFS are just that way: No returns, no exchanges but not sure why they want do a store credit. I would try your local reef community as mentioned before. They are always trading and selling through them.

Also you could file a complaint through the BBB maybe that might get someone's attention.
Facebook and all those kinds of stuff....Let people know how they treat their customers.

Ok. was just wondering if I should get the bubble anemone since thats got more hosting potential. I feel the LFS did contribute to this mess. I spent over an hour in there talking about my tank and what I was gonna put in it. I was point blank told that it was perfect for my tank and clowns would get along with it no problem. he wanted to sell me the clowns to the same day. So I feel they helped in my bad choice. But the majority of the blame goes to me, that I know.

I have a mix of many different saltwater fish amongst my tanks, but I love my Tangs most of all.

My opinion is no on another anemone. I know you've already been told that your tank isn't mature enough for an anemone, and it's obvious there's not much to be done about the one you already have. Getting another, IMO, is a worse idea.
One of the mentors said something to this effect a couple weeks ago: you think your tank is stable. Your levels appear to be good. But throughout the day, as a young tank, the levels are fluctuating all day. That's one of the reasons an anemone is suggested for a mature tank.

Ya know, Jenatron has a GREAT point. If you can get rid of this one, don't be too quick to get another just yet. Give it a few months past the new tank status you're currently at.

Actually I think it's beautiful but I don't want it to hurt my corals or fish.
