Lifespan of a cleaner/parasite wrasse

I had a parasite wrasse for only a few months before it died. I know it could have ran out of parasites but it would eat pe mysis fine. Idk if maybe the place I got it had it for a long time or what what but idk how long they live.

I think that they are fairly short lived. I had a couple years ago and mine both lasted about two or three months. They ate too.

They are very hard to keep alive unless you have a big fish population and even then it's hit or miss.
