It would do fine for soft corals or any inverts with low-med light requirements. I probably wouldn't try to keep SPS corals under this lighting system. You could probably support an anemone, but your tank really needs to be at least a year old before adding one. They tend not to do well in tanks that are not mature. One other thing to keep in mind is that this price doesn't include the bulbs. Bulbs will cost you about $100 for all four.
