Light Amount?

I have a 8 bulb t5 fixture on my 150g reef. I was wondering if I could run 6 blues and 2 white because I really like the blues better. Would that be ok?

You can if you like. Or you could get whites that have a more blue spectrum, like 12k or 14k... Thats what I do rather than replace a white with a blue. I also like a blue tank as well ad it seems that my corals like the actual whites and blues better.
