Light Cycle

I got my lights in the other day, and I have timers for the MH and the VHO...pretty sweet setup. Anyway, my question is how long should I have the the lights on for, I've heard that you should start the VHO and let them run throughout the day, and then have the MH kick on for a few hours in the middle of the day.

Also, where do I add my info onto this site...pics tank equipment, all that good stuff for a profile

I think you go the home page and click on your username. I dont have MH so I cant answer that question.

My actinics are set to come on one hour before my MH and shut off one hour after my MH. Actinics on for 10hrs a day and MH on for 8. Do notforget to photo-acclimate your tank to the new, more intense light. Here is some info...

well I dont have any corals as of yet, just 3 damsels...so I dont think the lights will hurt too much...I got the lights so that I could get anemones and corals, but I dont have any yet...
I just added my damsels yesterday...Now I'm on the look out for fish #2
