I have a 4 day trip coming up and with my 8 hour MH/fan cycle, I get minor evaporation. I have someone coming by to top the tank....but I hate relying on people, especially non-aquarium knowledgable ones:p If I were to cut my MH/fan cycle to say 4 hours per day to minimize evaporation in case he forgets to come by one day or just can't make it, will it have a detrimental effect on my corals?? I have several montis, acros, and pociliporas and a few LPS's that worry me. My softies and zoas don't concern me as much. With a 4 hour cycle, my evap will be minimal and if he can't make it one day, no harm no foul:D

Low's high 40's, and it got into the low 60's today probably. Very nice weather right now. Spent all day outside with my boy.
