I have a question, I have 2 actinic VHO bulbs and 2 daylight bulbs, does the extra actinic do anything bad to the tank? Ive been looking at some tank pics and they have more daylight than my tank, and if so, what should I put? 3 daylights and 1 actinic or all 4 daylight?

10k bulbs are generally used over daylight. They give a very white light which will appear to be brighter than other colors. Daylights tend to be a bit yellowy looking. The extra actinic won't do anything bad to your tank. As far as the tank is concerned, 40w of light is 40w of light. If you don't like the blue color of two bulbs, reduce it to one or none. It's up to you how you want your tank to look.
