Lighting for 29gal Reef

The dimensions of my tank are 30 1/4"L x 12 1/2"W x 18 3/4"H.

So I have been looking for 30" T5HO light fixtures but I see the most popular sizes are 24", 36", and 48".

Am I correct in looking for a 30" T5HO? Or should I be looking for 24" or 36"?

Most of the 24" t5ho's have legs that extend to work on a 30" tank. My odyssea does.

hm ok, well I got to excited and went ahead and ordered: 30 inch 4 lamp Coralife Lunar Aqualight T5 Lighting Fixture Coralife Lunar Aqualight T5 Light Fixture

Yes it will work. I used to use a 30" Current Sundial t5ho setup on my 29g

That will work great. I just couldnt find one when I bought mine. So I had to go with the 24".

I have the 4 bulb version that i still use on my 20long, its over 2 years old, never had a problem, works great. Current are a very good and reputed manufacturer. I also use a current 150w halide sunpod on my 29g and also running strong after 4 years no problems. Great lights.
