Lighting for a 40g long aquarium

Hi guys! Been a while!
I plan having a 40g breeder tank (48x13x16)
With a height of 16 inches, and since space is an issue on top of tank, I plan to use t5ho istead of leds. Would 4x54w would be enough for sps?

Oh also those arent 40 breeder dimensions. A 40b is 36" x18" x 16"

Those dimensions sound more like a 50 gal to me. My 55 gal is 48” x 13” x 18"

It is a 40 long tank. Not a 40 breeder, different dimensions

Depending on budget, I'd go for the AI Hydra, sol, or Hydra 52 units. I think two would cover your area efficiently. I have the 52's over my system, love them. Ultra compact in size, amazing output. Just my opinion of course.
