Lighting- help!

Ive had the same setup since 2003. Power compact lighting with 2 blue 2 white and moon lighting. This comes with 3 cords for each light grouping.

My setup is corroding, the screws are snapping on the housing and I cannot even replace a bulb! I know I spent at least 300 on this fixture. Looking for something comproble or better. I've also had fish only..
With that said....
What would I need to be able to add anemones?
I am looking at a t5 ho that has 3 blue 3 white and moon lighting on one cord and a LCD display for auto timing- sounds awesome, but will this house anemones?
And what is the metal halide good for??

Depends on depth and tank size. MH are just lights. They don't do anything special.

I think you'll be fine with 6 bulbs.

Just so you know if I could do it over again which I'm gonna upgrade to these in the near future is 2 taotronics dimmable fixtures

Yes the 6 bulb t5 your looking at will grow nems in 46 bowfront you should be good for anything really.
