lighting on for too long

my mistake the other day. i left the metal halides on for about 19 hours. forgot to put the timer back to AUTO. so now my shrooms and xenia dont look too hot. my question is: should i leave the lights off completely for a couple days to let everyone recover, or just reduce the lighting time? i'll never do that again!!!

I'd reduce it slightly for a couple of days then go back to your normal lighting routine.

I agree! Give the tank a shorter day for a few days. I'm sure that everything will perk back up! I did the same thing but luckily I caught it after only about 30 minutes.

It probably does not matter much one way or the other, so I would just go back to the normal routine.
