Lighting Question

Does PC require a specail ballest, different then the ones you can find at places like home depot and other lighting places?

As long as it is a power compact ballast. Not a flourescent or metal halide ballast. HD and lowes sell power compact lighting and I would think that as long as you match the ballast wattage with the bulb wattage you would be fine. You cannot however, go up or down on the wattage of the bulbs vs ballast. They would either overdrive or underdrive which will burn your bulbs prematurely. This is to the best of my knowledge and others may differ.
