Lighting question

Hi all, I have a question in ref to my lighting, I have two 165 vho's and two 192 compacts, my lights sit about eight inches high off the tank is that exceptable or to much?[/list]

I think that would be fine. the nice thing about hanging fixtures is that you can adjust the height depending on heat issues and what corals you have.
