Lighting Question MOON light !

hey guys ! i just recently bought a moon light ! it looks sick in my little 2.5 gallon btw ! lol ! but my question is does it have to be on 8 hours only just like my corallife or can i turn on my coralife 8 hours and the other 16 of the day have my mooon light on !

because my coral life doesnt have two switches for the aticnic and the day light ! it has one ! let me klnow ! thanks alot !

Those little LED moonlights are good for like 100,000 hours of burn time. Most people leave them on 24 hours a day.

I agree with Neilan. Your regular light will cancel the LED out while they are on. You can run it all the time, or put it on a timer.
