Lights

I have 3 120watt LEDs over my my tank. Tank is 34 deep by 18 wide and 48 long. I have a hanging fixture. What is best distance from water I have a variety of different types of corals. I think I had my lights too far away (11inches)

I have a 55 gallon and 2 led fixtures and they are like 7 inches of the top of the tank, lfs told me 6 to 8 is good.
