Lights on or off?

When acclimating is it best for the lights to be on or off during and after introduction? 29g FOWLR

Lights are always off when I add new fish. I then put on the blues after a while and if there is time the whites. All depends on how quickly the fish gets used to the tank.

I just added half a dozen fish tonight and had only the blues on but since i always feed after introducing I turned the whites on. The tangs are all fine pretty much and swimming around so I just left the lights on.

Thanks, its been so long since I've added anything new I just wasn't sure.
BTW I'm adding a 6line and an emerald crab
