Thanks. I kinda doubt that my LFS has a TDS meter attached to thier water set up but i will look next time i go in. They are currently remodeling their whole shop and i'm hoping making a few improvements. Not crazy about the place but i don't have a lot of options in my area.

Wow in Daytona I would think there would be several options. Look on ebay for an RO/DI unit, they aren't too expensive and they make a huge difference in your tank. I think I paid $69 for mine.

You would think so. I did a yellow pages search and went to 4 different places 2/4 were total dumps. the two that i go to are ok but i like the one back home much better. If anyone knows of a good LFS in the area please let me know.
