Little brown tubes on live rock

are the little (1/4 inch long, about diameter of fishline) brown tubes on my new (1+ week) possibly feather dusters or are my hopes up? New at this. Just set up tank and only live rock is currently in it.

oops... They are on my new live rock. The tank is currently cycling.

Most likely they are tubes from long departed feather dusters. But I believe that there are some in the rock somewhere. I have about 100 of them in my tank that came from my LR.

Feather dusters for sure, or the tubes from the dearly departed feather dusters.

I have the same tubes. Give it some time and new ones will turn up. I have about 500-600 on my live rock.

I had these in my tank a long while back. I also had a couple of bigger ones that perished.... ...long time ago. Live rock is great!!!! You never know what you will get!!!!
