Live Rock

I was told its good to have everything in your aquarium from the same location. I was curious if this applies to live rock too, can you mix different live rocks in the same aquarium to increase diversity and decor.

thanks. im getting live rock going right now in a 20gal aquarium to seed a 110gal, im then going to turn the 20 gal into a sump/refugium for the 110gal tank. this will be the first tank ive set up, but i am going to school right now for marine biology so i do understand what is going on.
