Live rock curing

Ok for my soon to set up 37g i am adding about 10 lbs of LR and 30 lbs of BR is this a good ratio also about how long should i w8 to add my first 2 blue chromis, also lastly i hear that curing rock gets smelly but my tank is in my bedroom,how smelly will it get cuz i spend most of my time in my room? Thanks ahead of time

As far as the curing goes, it all depends on how uncured your rock is. I got some rock in my tank that was entirely uncured, and the smell was putrid. I'm still curing it now, but the smell isn't as bad anymore. It was about a week of rank stench. Kind of like low tide in a busy marina lol

Running carbon while curing helps a bit with the smell. But again, it really all depends on how uncured the rock is.
