Hi,

I've had live rock in my tank now for about a month and it's starting to grow green algae on it along with the purple its growing. Is this good/bad? and do i want to get ride of it and if so how?

Thanks! im a newb :) heh

If the green is the same texture as the purple and its hard to just rub off than its coraline algae and this is good algae. Most people want to encourage its growth althought there are a few that dont want it.

Basicly if you like its apperance then dont fret over trying to remove it as it will just grow back.
