Well, my summer project is to turn 2/3rds of my 55 gallon wet dry into a fuge. How about I put a 4" sand base in there, along with as much lr as will fit and seed that with a detritivore kit, like that kit that is selling on ebay. Might this "feed " my main enough to keep the sand alive, as well as keep my stars happy. I really would like to keep them. Cosmetically they help keep the tank looking nice.
Thanks in advance.

I have yellow goby, tank is new with no refug, Im thinking of 20 to 50 nassaria snail to stir sand without eating bac, I have seen one pod on my LR that is 2 wks and not any in my sand how do I get them.
