i'm having a issue getting my nem to take to the rocks
my clowns are pushing it around not giving it a chance to take
it blows up like a balloon floating up to top of the tank
i caught it 3 times about to get sucked up by the power head
any ideas

nylon sock around the power head so it wont get chopped. any way to get the clowns out for a bit?

Place it on the rocks then cover it with a fishnet use one with a fine mesh. The nem will grab the rocks in minutes.

i built a cage around it till it takes hope it attaches better this time
when i got him about 2 weeks ago it took to the sand
my little clown loves it and big clown is very rough on it than it inflates and floats away
this is how it looked before the big clown got to it

If it's moving, it's not happy for one reason or another. It's possible it's too small for the clown at this time.

the nem has a 6 inch diameter not small in no way
yes unhappy cause the big clown is beating the hell out of it
not giving it a chance to settle
i built a cage around it to keep the clown away it seems to be working
my wife came home with 2 small condys to distract him till the long tentical attaches
so far so good once thing chill the 2 condys go in my other tank

well the 2 condys thing worked the long tentical nem finally attached , now the next issue
i intended to move condys to my lower tank but now the clowns are all over them
guess they'll stay since it's keeping them from beating up the long tentical
he looks happy again hope this time he stays happy

Maroon clowns are pretty rough on anemones. As you can clearly see, this was most likely the issue with it moving. IMO, return the maroons and get smaller clowns, if you like anemones and don't want to pay top dollar for big ones.

Thanks Mr X
between the cage i built and the 2 condys my wife brought home to distract them the nem finally attached , i got to give my wife a A in fish phycoligy making a distraction worked , as for the 2 clowns i could never return them i had them over 4 years and it's funny how you can get attached to a stupid fish ,
