They are best kept in a reef system and unlike most hawks, usually leave ornamental shrimps and crabs alone. Though may go after those that are really small like sexy shrimp.

I have one and she is so cool. she has a personality I think. She did eat my small peppermint shrimp the day after we put her in the tank, but she hasnt bothered anyone else since. She has her perches, where she likes to sit and she also knows when it is feedingt time and comes up to the top of the tank to eat.
