so in my sump i have a bunch of little bubbles that are forming on the surface and when they pop it seems to spread salt creep all over the place...

anything to to stop this?

I've seen a spray at Petsmart that is supposed to stop it from forming. Unless you're looking for a way to stop the bubbles. Do you have a filter sock on your output into the sump?

Maybe try it again? If it was keeping bubbles from forming it might help with the salt creep.

I get it growing up in my tank onto the outside sometimes

oh yeah it definatly helped... but i dont want the sock to trap things and increase my nitrates

All you'll have to do is make sure it stays clean, just shaking it in some PWC water will get a good amount of gunk off of it.
