Loud Skimmer

My skimmer is an aquaclear 75 and it is pretty loud due to the the air intake for the venturi. The pump for it is a rio 600. Is there anyway that I can quiet this down a little bit? Any help would be great.

Put a longer piece of airline on it and run it under the stand.
