if a lunar wrasse is not reeef safe because it will eat your crabs and shrimp what do you use for a cleaning crew? will they eat snails? can they get a hermit crab out of its shell? could you have one in a reef setup if you didnt have any crabs other than hermits and just accepted some of those would be eaten? the small blue legs dont have a long life span anyway

The most common problem with Lunares is decorative shrimp/crabs and snails. Hermits seem to fair very well with them. While still small, the wrasse will usually leave the snails alone but as they get bigger it will become an increasing problem. The best suited snail for this wrasse is a true turbo.
