Well I swear on my tank that its the truth. I still don't believe it, I keep waiting each day to wake up and find him dead from shock or trauma or something, however the fish is 100% cool and still has no problems. Does water actually pass the impeller of the mag, or does the impeller pull it in and push it up maybe? The only other explination would be that the little fish swam back through all my baffles to the overflow side of the sump, fought the 800GPH overflow current up 5 feet and four 90 degree turns then jumped up the stream of water into the main overflow chamber and out through the fish guard to freedom! In all honestly I think that the chances of that are as good as the chances of not getting torn to shreds by the impeller, however I just can't reason that one LoL.
