Hello everyone
I have a 40 gallon FOWLR tank. I do not currently run a sump/refugium. The other day I saw a 10 gallon tank that I have not used in a while. I had an epiphany and realized that this could be a sump (or could it?). I dont really like having all the equipment hanging off the back of my tank so I think a sump would be great. I am a little confused on what a sump/refugium is however. I realize the tank goes under your main tank. But im not sure how you would set it up so water could go down there and be pumped back up. That is the part that confuses me. Also, can your sump/refugium be in the same tank? Can anyone help clear this up for me?
Thanks
Ryan
