mandarins breeding

attempting to breed red mandarins, just wanted to know what would be the best first food for the fry,

Mandarins have a larval stage in which they do not even posess a mouth. When the yolk is consumed and the mouth fully developed, you'll probably need infusoria. Rotifers may work. I read an article on breeding them once but don't recall the name. You should be able to find it with a quick google search though.

I have a thread on breeding mandarins good luck getting them through day 4 and I like to raise them in live rotifers (green water) from day 1 I got them past metamorphosis and to week 4 when they looked like real mandarins buti had a 6 hour power outage while I was at school and they all died.
