I have only one and it is in my refugium. It finally has one leaf starting to come out it was only a stalk and the roots are growing nicely. I was also told that they like magnesium as well.

There is no down side to trying to grow them, just not much benefit to the aquarium filtration.

Thanks. I try to dose 1tsp mag once every other week. Light stays on 24/7 in the sump. I will be adding three more if my friend still has them.
