Aquarium Advice Apprentice
Hey folks,
My mantis is arriving Thursday morning by fedex. It's coming from Calif overnight to Lubbock, TX, so it shouldn't be in the packaging for too long.
He's coming from bluezooaquatics and they recommend drip acclimation. This is my first mail order livestock so I'm a little nervous. I've heard that when you open the bag the open air causes an ammonia spike. Is this correct? Or was it just someone being way too cautious?
He's a 2 inch Tiger Mantis going in my fuge under the 75g. He'll have about half of the 29g sump to call his own.
