Maxima Clams

These beautiful maxima clams... Anything to not keep them with? Minimum tank size? Worth the $$$$?

I think they are worth the money because of their beautiful coloring. Don't keep them with any fish that aren't reef safe. Even though some fish like Dwarf Angelfish are sometimes called reef safe or semi-reef safe, they will nip at the clam. Also, I believe I have heard of certain Tangs sometimes nipping.

NO! they are cool, I have a maxima, derasa and crocea and love them all. But thats a nice chunk of change for something that just sits there and will become food. Seem pretty easy to care for, just watch your params!
