Mean Watchman

I just got a cleaner crue of snails and hermit crabs. My watchman goby tries to eat the smaller snails, what do i do???? and is this normal???

Does the fish seek them out or simpley remove them from it's territory?

Could the the goby is simpley moving the "intruders" from it's burrow area. It is not normal for them to attack inverts.

well he didnt chew them, he just picked up the small ones and droped them off at the other side of the tank.

Sounds like all it's doing is removing intruders. Nothing to be concerned about, albeit entertaining.

sounds like he's just holding his ground. i have never witnessed my watchman attacking or eating anything, except his frozen food and usual sand sifting.
