There are some basses that are good medium sized schooling fish out there, If the aquarium is big enough then some kind of tang might work.
But right now with no aquarium sizes i can't tell whats appropriate and whats not.

Well with that size of aquarium you are looking at small fish with a big school. Because with that size aquarium most of the medium schooling fish need a bigger aquarium. With that the fish species, family's too choose from are the cardinals, chromis, damselfish, there are more but i cant find them.
