I have a Jebo 150 hang-on skimmer. It seems to do an awsome jobs. I have now reduced my tanks mechanical filtration to just this skimmer, and all the water parameters are right where they should be.

I was wondering if anyone has a way to eliminate all the micro-bubbles that are returned to the tank. It is especially bad after I feed my corals. I realize this is merely a result of the venturi action in the chamber, but I'm sure there must be a way to eliminate this on the return side. I shut it off when I feed sometimes so I don't skim off the food before the corals and fish have a chance to eat, but as soon as I turn it back on the little bubbles return. En force.

Any suggestions?

Check into modifying one of the surface skimming bubble traps for your skimmer. Aqua-c and cpr bakpak both make one.

Cool. I have never heard of one so I am glad I asked. I knew I couldn't be the only one with this problem.

Once again you came to the rescue. Thanks Kevin. Kudos to you pal.
