Hello.

Recentaly added a sump into my 55 gal aquarium. Now the inlet pipe to the sump from the display tank is about 2cm above water level in the sump. So water is flowing in creating air and bubbles, Now the sump had 4 chambers. And by the time the water gets to the last chamber (the outlet pump) it has mirco bubbles and its pumping them into the display tank. Its pumping at around 2000LPH.

Anyone have any idea how to remove mirco bubbles?

Thanks.

Is each chamber separated by 2-3 baffles, 1 higher than the other... called bubble traps? You can also put a sponge/sock on the drain tube though that's a maintenance nightmare.

Just so you know, you will always have air/bubbles entering from the drain. The goal is to dissipate those before it hits your return pump.
