I have a 30 gal mini reef. I have 4 fish (percula clown, bi color blenny,2 cardinals), and decent supply of corals, 4 turbo snails and several crabs. Do you think a weekly or close to weekly 3 gal water change is enough. I have about 70lbs of live rock. All 4 standard readings are good and after 5 months no bab algae yet.I just want an idea I don't wanna over do water changes but things in the tank seem to like when I do them.

thanks
Jeff

I would do 15% water changes (5g). Then do them bi-weekly instead. I have a 55g reef and I do 10g water changes about every three to four weeks. My reed is a few years old.

You can't overdo water changes so don't sweat that either. While not recommended to go from a few gallons to 100%, you can work to near that gradually and it would be great for the tank.....but a heck of a lot of labor.
