Mixing Mrs. Wages Pickling Lime

I have several Aiptasia under and on my LR and found a jar of Mrs. Wages. Can someone tell me how to mix it up and with what? I have the hypo container but not the needle...can I somehow put a stiff piece of airline on it? Or is there another way?

Any help is appreciated.

Also, will this hurt my fish or inverts if they nibble on it? I have a peppermint and 2 Cleaners/with eggs.

I take the needle off my syringe. The only issue I had when I used the airline tubing (for a better angle) was a little more of it came out. You can always mix more or less water for thicker/thinner solutions.
I didn't have any issues with my inverts trying to eat it, most of them just hid.
